Given that the Jesuits were instrumental in developing this warped viewpoint of Revelation ( http://www.lmn.org/magazine/170/Jesuits.html ), it's not surprising that Santorum feels quite at ease with these fanatical Dispensationalists.

lets not blame the decline of western civilization on the Jesuit order
or even the rather sad & vague cognitive leaps of rick santorum's Id.

While I don't consider myself an outright conspiracy theorist, Jesuit involvement in undermining America's concept of secular society and separate churches that can recognize each other (as they did in the early days of the colonies, and it goes back to St. Augustine and St. Ambrose, and several other early church fathers) is impossible to deny. You might argue I'm somewhat biased against the Jesuit order because I've embraced a Jansenist understanding of Catholicism and I know that part of the mission statement of the Jesuits is destroying people like me in order to keep Catholics in full conformity with arbitrary papal decrees, but I think the facts speak for themselves.

Yes, the decline of America rests on conflicting factions with confuted values, but certain groups are definitely promoting it strongly, and I would argue that the people who educated Nancy Pelosi, Rudy Giuliani, Santorum and others are just as active in this as bastardized Baptist and Protestant groups floating a similarly confounded interpretation of biblical prophecy that feeds into radically Zionist politics, and ultimately the Republican pandering to AIPAC.
