We get the most people at the rallies by far, because our support is the most passionate. But then when it comes to voting time, it seems like the undecided voters just try and guess who they think is going to win and vote for whoever the media propped candidate it. Until we change this fundamental way of thinking for most Americans, we will struggle to win elections with the media arm united against us. However, Ron is correct when he says ideas spread easily and are unstoppable. I just hope the ideas are realized en masse before the collapse happens, not after. Because when the collapse happens, this creates an opportunity for the American Hitler to make his or her rise. We need the ideas of Ron Paul to be fully understood by a majority of this country BEFORE the collapse happens, or we are in big trouble. Off topic, I know. Sorry.

Walt, why are you still here? Serious question. Every other post is a whine. The corporate media WILL NEVER be on Ron Paul's side. Get that through your head. There is a restaurant in NH that banned politicans and cameramen for reasons exactly like this. RP is not your usual politician. All of these people came to see him and get a picture with him. They will FB it and share it with their friends and family in social media. This incites conversations and gains converts. Stop whining.

The only thing stopping him from winning is that people aren't coming out to vote. The 18-40 crowd loves him, but they also are not showing up to vote like the baby boomers are. If we could double the amount of 18-40 that come out to vote we would be killing it.

Ron had to spontaneously blow off a crowd that had walked a mile past lined cars into an airport hanger after about a 12 minute speech this morning because he got significant media opportunity. Some weren't happy, and these are the ones he needs to vote for him, remember? Rallies at the end are to convince those still on the fence, but are huge because they are to rally up supporters and make sure they turn out.

Walt's idea of constructive criticism is different than mine. I believe we have rainmakers in this forum who rain over every little thing and are all about gloom and doom. Yes, it is important to be realistic and offer constructive criticism, but every other post is a "Jesse Benton sucks" here or a "oh god, why are they doing this STILL" there. It gets old fast. It got old a long time ago.

And all they did was say "Media, please move away so RP can take pictures with people". Benton already has media slots lined up. And the media now has to watch RP shake hands with adoring thrones of folks who love him. That will make them see there is something there. And they will report this love, or they will not, most likely not. So it's win win either way. And as said before, everyone taking a picture will post it on their FB walls, thus inciting conversation amongst their circle of friends and family members.

Just to step back for a second...

You guys know what all of this means, right? Regardless of this election, history has changed. This campaign has ignited something fierce in the hearts and minds of the young people, and Paul has set a wonderful example -- an intelligent, principled, kind man can have a political impact. You don't have to be a scumbag to be a politician. ....if Ron hadn't come along, would any of us believe that?

Ron had to spontaneously blow off a crowd that had walked a mile past lined cars into an airport hanger after about a 12 minute speech this morning because he got significant media opportunity. Some weren't happy, and these are the ones he needs to vote for him, remember? Rallies at the end are to convince those still on the fence, but are huge because they are to rally up supporters and make sure they turn out.

I was surprised he did that. Disappointed.

You don't see it as a "conspiracy theorist" position to think that the Federal Reserve will have Ron Paul assassinated?
Absolutely not. I see it as a valid concern, one of many concerns that shouldn't be taken lightly. There's a reason why peeps say that Ron needs a certain type of VP choice, one that isn't part of the corrupt system - it's for protection. Ron isn't just trying to win a campaign to help the U.S., he's trying to alter the course of history here. Huge shoes to fill, which is why he has more enemies than anyone that's ever run for President. And I would never think that those that are in power would casually sit by and let the democratic process take it's course without doing any and everything in their means to avert that.

Don't take anything for granted with these people.

Listening to why people support Ron Paul sounds ten million times better than listening to someone talk about why they support other candidates. For instance with Santorum...when people asked why they supported him all I heard was...stutter stutter stutter...he seems like a good guy, and I think we need family.

Listening to a Ron Paul supporter speak about why they support him they list like 5-10 bullet points and talk about history....It's amazing how different our supporters are from the rest....C-SPAN has been pretty cool tonight.
