Obama 42% Romney 42% Jan 3-4, 2012
Obama 49% Gingrich 39% Jan 2, 2012
Obama 46% Huntsman 33% Dec 29-30, 2011
Obama 47% Santorum 37% Dec 16-17, 2011
Obama 43% Paul 35% Dec 10-11, 2011
Obama 46% Perry 34% Dec 4-5, 2011
Obama 42% Johnson 27% Oct 4-5, 2011

so that other poll today was saying Ron Paul is PERCEIVED by Republicans as weakest against Obama, but in actual head to head polling Ron Paul is second best against Obama even by Rasmussen's own polls.

Good ammo to tell people when questioned about his not being able to beat Obama. Romney has shown he has a definite ceiling from the Iowa Caucus and can not win over new voters like RP can.

He always polls romney when Obama is down that way he looks good.

That and it's always different samples and different days so the numbers are meaningless.

I know. RCP average also has Ron second best after Romney in polling against Obama.
