Thorsen's actions may be representative of a small but significant branch of military members, whose financial support gives Paul bragging rights.

Financial reporting through the end of the third quarter of 2011 shows Paul raised the third-most amount of money of Republican presidential candidates -- behind Mitt Romney and Rick Perry -- and well behind President Obama's massive take, but he has outperformed all his rivals in military donations.

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Paul collected $95,567 in campaign contributions through Sept. 30, 2011, from people who list their occupation as one of the branches of the U.S. military or Defense Department -- topping every other 2012 candidate, including Obama, who raised $72,616 through that reporting period.

They are a little late to the party, considering we just got Q4 numbers.

Wow... the way they frame that story is pathetic.

It is actually a pretty favorable piece. Notice the part where they label him "non-interventionist" for example.

People need to go visit that story to keep it's traffic up, considering it is on the front page, also.

They are probably obligated to write something because people may be asking them if it's true. They HAVE to frame it in a way that downplays the importance of it. If Flip or Newtel or Sanitation Man were getting that kind of response from the military, it would be all over the news. This is yet another example of their fear of Ron Paul.

No one but Paul.

Well, let's all do eachother a favor and spread that story. It is not every day Fox News posts articles about Ron. At least this one contains some positive elements to it.

At least they lead with the "Non-interventionist" then quickly added isolationist bit. It seems the whole "unelectable" thing has gone away.

They censored the "twice" as much as the others comined out.

Msnbc had an opinion hit piece just on and still using isolationist term and totally marginalized troop support, along with outright lies.

Certain media is trying to be nice to Ron Paul supporters badly though, especially after what Palin said. They can't win without our support and they know it.

MSNBC is just the liberal's faux news anyway.

MSNBC is much like Faux sometimes - they all do I'll agree . . . but they have some clean stories sometimes
especially Morning Joe (when he's not kissing Trump's arse).
