4 years ago when Ron Paul got 10% in Iowa, if you asked anyone that one day Ron Paul would be a serious contender for the GOP nomination they would have said you’re crazy, but here we are now. The defender of the Constitution has shocked the establishment with not only the strength of his grassroots followers and fundraising which everyone is familiar with from 2008, but now his state-of-the-art organization which allowed him to cut through extreme undermining by the establishment and the media to pull through a near win in Iowa. While many haven’t jumped on the Paul bandwagon yet, after Iowa it becomes clear he is the only candidate with support and funds to challenge Romney in New Hampshire and we will probably see the Anti-Romney vote begin to coalesce behind him making for a possible surprise upset. What makes Ron Paul dangerous is his ability not only to pull classical conservatives in the mold of a Calvin Coolidge out to the polls, but also libertarians, independents, and even disaffected Democrats disappointed with failed promises from Barack Obama.
