OK - it was just a recording. But I'm still excited! I had heard that some automated calls would be starting in Iowa and apparently that's true. Anything that helps Dr. Paul's name recognition here is MUCH appreciated.

I also heard a new radio commercial yesterday.

Can't wait to hear some more from Ron Paul!

I'm sorry - I meant to summarize. From my recollection:

It was very brief and simple (which is great - we just need the name Ron Paul getting into people's heads).

She introduced herself and said her husband is running for President. She said they were married 50 years ago and he had served in the air force/Vietnam, went to Duke Medical School, and that they had 5 kids, 18 grandkids, and 1 great-grandkid.

She talked about his career in medicine and that he had delivered thousands of babies.

She said something about what kind of president he would be.

Then another narrator gave the phone number for Iowa HQ 2 or 3 times.

Sweet. Are you a registered Republican or Independent?

I'm not sure how they're targeting but I'm a registered Republican with a strong voting and caucus history.

That's awesome! I'm not a big fan of automated phone calls but having Carol do them I think will work well.

That's how they're spending the money we gave them!
