As long as I'm here, this Ron Paul photo from last week got a laugh out of me. Tom Woods says: "CNN: Let’s Use the Most Uncharacteristic Photo of Ron Ever":

I'm pretty sure she was told to do so.... perhaps that's why she is crying. :D

I've always loved that picture. I was going to use it when Santorum finally withdraws. I know many people that have used the son as an internet avatar.

Seriously all these children look like they were forced onto that stage.

Well, she had to... it matches the dolls dress.

Well, nothing like having their daughters dress alike. (another reason to cry)

That was all the rage when I was in college prep boarding school.

Thank God I turned Andover down. I hate sweater vests!

Yeah, I didn't appreciate them myself. They always get stretched out of shape so the collar hangs down. They are a pretty good substitute for a suit coat though. Given the choice, I would always pick the sweater over the suit coat.

I'm a suit man myself. I can't think of anything more comfortable (both physically and self-esteem wise) than a good suit/blazer that fits well.

No offense intended here, but I suspect there is a pre-existing history of trauma there.

Yeah, but for a casual everyday wardrobe? Seems a bit high maintenance to me. I always had problems with my suit coat getting caught in those damned wooden folding chairs.

I'm so used to wearing a suit it's basically everyday ware for me. I had to wear one for school from grade 1 till graduation, then during college for work after class and now all day, everyday for work!

Oh.. I see.
I would just feel funny wearing one while out in the chicken coop watering and feeding the birds and doing the other chores around the farm.

Haha yeah it doesn't seem very appropriate for farm work. I, on the other hand, live in the city and work in an office. Farm clothes would seem a bit out of place for me. (although I look forward to the day when I have my own farm and can wear them daily!)

His disabled kid is his youngest daughter. I believe she's 2 years old and has Edwards syndrome.

Yep, flannel lined blue jeans and flannel shirt are what I'm wearing right now, and with the temperature below freezing right now, I feel somewhat warmer wearing them. This drafty old 1880 farm house is expensive to heat, so I keep the thermostat turned up to 20.5 degrees Celsius.

lol my modern apartment is expensive to heat so I keep the heating off most of the time. It doesn't get too cold here so we don't have a proper heater, our air conditioning unit doubles as a heater, but it uses so much power and if I turn it on all night I end up paying about €250 a month in electricity. Thanks Spanish government and your expensive "green energy" requirements! It's ok though this winter hasn't been cold, it's 1am and its about 7°C outside, so keeping the windows closed and a good blanket is enough.

It's not just her though. If you cut all the grownups out of the scene and played the Adams Family Theme, people would believe you were showing them an upcoming preview of yet another remake.

Sailungaway has a point. Confine the purile wit to HIM even though i feel there is a hint of dysfunctionality around
him you cannot totally put your finger on. Lets slam him hard on what he says and does, but his kids are off limits.
The family is home schooling their young. The hazing that normally would erupt on a playground is not happening.

But will happen as soon as they enter the real world. I have nothing against homeschooling, but I'm sure these kids are bring indoctrinated in some Santorum neoconservative fantasyland. Poor kids, they're in for a shock when they realize that the world isn't America and Israel vs the gays and Muslims.

The kids look miserable, Mrs. Santorum looks like an ice queen and reminds me of Hillary for some reason - the real power behind the throne.

Sorry about your cousin. Especially him dying because of lies, propaganda and greed.

This SOB needs to be taken down. Same with with the rest of the chicken hawks.

Love the vertical stripes. Makes them look thinner. LOL

A sweater vest is never ever a substitute for suit coat, there is no substitute for a suit coat.

And yes, the vertical stripes are not a wise choice for their body types, they're not fooling anyone with the stripes lol
