If so, the overall percentage and number of votes is irrelevant in this context

Read the fine print:
Here's how we estimate the delegate count on 3 January 2012: (Note that zero national convention delegates are allocated during the Precinct Caucuses - national convention delegates are first elected in June.)
We will allocate the state's 25 non-party leader delegates proportionally according to the popular vote for those candidates receiving 5% or more of the vote. This is a very rough estimate and will change by the time the state convention meets.

That still basically says that the top vote receivers will split the delegates - and they are soft (unpledged), which means, technically, that if the campaign did it's job, we have MORE than 6 delegates who will vote for RP

There are different projections by different people. It's definitely not going to be 0, as FOX News would have you believe on their website. I'm just worried the anti-Paul delegates will join forces behind one candidate.
