is there anyone from massachusetts who can provide info on how to become a delegate? i need info and questions answered....i have been calling state offices and the sec of state and i get no where....

in massachusetts, do we wait after the primary to become a delegate? i am a reg republican but do we need to be a big somebody in our state GOP to become a delegate??

i have this website, but i still need help understanding it...im new to this process but i am very VERY commited...all i need is a mentor....a little guidance please!

According to that document, it looks like May 5th is the latest they can hold the election of Congressional District & Alternate Delegates and June 15th is the deadline for electing At-Large & Alternate Delegates. I don't know if that means they will actually choose the delegates on those days or if it could be sometime before then.

It sounds as if there is a delegate election meeting for each district and you would have to figure out when and where yours is. The MA GOP site (http://massgop.com/) does not have that information listed as far as I can see, but they do have a phone number, 617-523-5005.

I'm from Mass and I was a delegate in 2008. To become a delegate you go to the caucus, get someone to nominate you, you give a 3-minute speech and then the people vote.

Sending you a PM now. I'll give you the email of one of the Ron Paul coordinators from Mass. He can give you the email of the coordinator for your particular district.
