If we come in say withe 20% 2nd place but romney gets 40% or higher would we get any?

Hence why we plug along. Romney can't run away with he just doesn't pass the smell test for the majority of the gop voters. And the other candidates have so many warts that anything is possible. We just need to keep ourselves in the game and a 2nd place finish in NH will do the trick nicely. After SC and FL, there are a number of caucuses and who knows we may pick up a win or two in those and ....

I don't think there is a 50% threshold....it is proportional no matter what.

I could possibly be 50% threshold for the at large. The district delegates are almost always proportional. You'd have to look at the state rules all are different.
