I'm going to ask Josh to sticky this so that as the media starts to roll in, I would appreciate it if people would put news stories, youtubes, etc... into this thread. I'll try to organize it when I return from Philly. :D

Man, I don't like that woman. Could they possibly get anyone more vacuous and smarmy to interview him?

I think it was basically that she had no clue who RP was or what he stood for. I mean come on "what do you think about the economy?" OMG! He's been saying the same friggin thing for 30 years! 2 minutes of homework and these "journalists" would be able to ask much better questions.

I thought she was trying to get a lot done in a very short period of time. She did a great job, and CNN's coverage this week has been decent.

I agree that the amount of airing time for Ron Paul was good at CNN, especially compared to other networks.

However I didn't like this particular interviewer; at one point she was talking for like 1 minute and I was starting to wonder if she was thinking she was being interviewed.

Yeah, "newbie" questions are just fine with me - those are the same questions "mainstream voters" are asking me over and over again. Helping them get up to speed is what it's going to take now as we keep the transition from early adopters to the mainstream going. Giving people time to think about their questions is giving them time to reason their way out of the "ignorance submits to whatever is dictated to it" camp that Thomas Paine talked about. Forcing ourselves to smile, having patience, giving milk-before-meat is what it's all about now. Other campaigns are expecting their money to make up for lack of message, our campaign has the message of truth that resonates with American resolve and money will flow from that to satisfy whatever need arises.

Pretty cool that she thanked him for his service as an Air Force man at the end.

CBS 3's piece is almost as bad as NBC's
video here http://anonym.to/?http://cbs3.com/local
Listen to the last line of the video. Sickening.

FOX was pretty fair

The CNN Political Ticker blog puts the crowd at 1500 (????!!!!) and runs a goofy picture of Dr. Paul:

I thought both bits were good. The takeaway from the CBS piece is that thousands of Ron Paul supporters showed up -- the pictures and sounds are more powerful than what the commentator tacks on.

The Fox video was great. The takeaway was that a lot of different types of people are enthusiastically supporting him. If I didn't already know about him, it would make me want to learn.

Both reports mentioned "thousands" at the rally!

It was a great day. Lots of pics to share but I've been going for 36 hours straight so they'll have to wait.

I"m not sure who is more biased. CBS or Fox?

Surely someone has captured the CBS report or the FOX report on TV and is willing to send it to me?

It was chilly in Philly, but Bonnie MacDonald, my young musician friend, and I barely noticed.

We were at Ground Zero of the Ron Paul Revolution in the City of Brotherly Love and Geno’s cheesesteaks. In our case, we were literally sitting on the ground at Independence Mall, practically at the feet of Dr. Paul.
