Nah. Just a sign that the gub'ment built a big heavy marble structure in the middle of a swamp.

What do you figure he's upset about?
a) That he was deified?
b) That his memorial was disingenuously suggested by a man he probably would have hated more than Hamilton?
c) That it was approved by Congress during a Depression?
d) That they stuck it in a swamp?
e) That the country he founded hates everything he stood for and constantly invokes his name to justify principles he detested and fought against?

(kidding...)

I love that Memorial!! Lincoln is shown on his throne (typical of a President who exiled opponents and removed rights from the States), BUT Jefferson is memorialized by a statue of him STANDING!! When I visit that memorial I feel like I'm standing with him...

What history our nation has!! I love this country, just can't stand what it's been morphed into...
