In 2008 Fairfield had about 800 people show up, they ran out of registration forms, they were the last to count their votes, it was CRAZY.
This time we brought 300 extra registration forms, a dozen clipboards and pens.
I am from out of state, so stayed in the office at the phones.
6:45 phone rings and Roger says "Pam, make another 150 registration forms and bring them over quick!"
So I did.
Got to the school at 6:55 and the parking lot was over flowing, with a hundred or more folks in line,
and at least that many quickly walking from the surrounding blocks.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO exciting!
Hang on to your hats folks, we are changing history!
For those that don't know, Fairfield is in Jefferson County, the one and only county in Iowa that went for Ron last time.;>)
