Do we have any idea when they will start reporting results from Iowa? In other words, can I expect to go online tonight and watch precincts trickle in over CNN, RCP, or some other online portal? Or, because of the informal caucus style, will results simply get reported a day or two after the fact? I forget how it went in 08.

In 2008, the first precincts started rolling in at 8:25 PM ET. These were the smallest precincts that had less than 10 voters participating.

Sometime tonight results will start coming out. Maybe around 7:30 CST? Due to the closeness of the race it wouldn't surprise me if they couldn't predict the winner until very late tonight or tomorrow morning.

They already know the "results", so that shouldn't be a problem.

Nice, I'll be online tonight with a beer and a smile (hopefully).

I wouldn't get gloom-and-doom about it. The Paul campaign is confident in their ability to watchdog the results.
