"Most of the rest of the Republican field seems to be a little bit overeager to use nuclear weapons to bomb other countries."

I think he meant overeager to use weapons to bomb Irans nuclear program lol

My god, not 1 single soft ball question. I've never seen any candidate be treated this way.

Rand Paul is pretty tough, though. I'm glad he called out the reporter.

Rand shut her question about drugs and prostitution down like a boss. Ron should take that approach too.

Yeah, and he did with that 9/11 nonsense Sunday. It is a lot easier to defend a third person though, it looks less self serving.

He only needs to defend it if it's a philosophical argument. That's how they trap him so often, and how people here get bogged down too.

The response about wanting someone reasonable in charge of our nukes was epic.

Yah, we want to borrow Billions from China so we can afford bases in Japan and Korea protecting them from China...

"What is Mitt Romney then?" Hes a lying piece of trash, ma'am, have you seen this video?

Rand is on top of his game with respect to these types of interviews. We're lucky to have someone like him being a face for Paul's campaign.

Calm logic demonstrates that shrill fear mongering is childish and ignorant.

An excellent job by Rand.

Ron's never talked about prostitution. Its already legal at the federal level hence Ron Paul would make no change to its laws. These people are fucking idiots. Sometimes I just want to punch them in the face for their stupidity.

You'd certainly think so! Whether the neocons like it or not, keeping troops in Germany/Japan, etc. is just not sustainable. The Keynesian drinking party is over, and now we have to deal with the hangover.

Paul has been asked about issues like prostitution in the past, and has responded (without even going into prostitution itself) by saying such matters should be resolved locally. This implies different communities will address it differently, with some states permitting ranches or red light districts, and other states not. There's no one-size-fits-all resolution as to what approach is the best for 'freedom' in a diverse country, so neither the social left nor social right should be imposing themselves on the other. But the purpose of CBS asking questions on it was not to address such nuances, but to keep the Pauls on the defensive, which is why a "like a boss" put down of the question was needed.
