View Full Version : Ronslide in Iowa Predicted

BUSHLIED

Just talked to someone that has friends in Iowa. There is nothing but Ron Paul signs everywhere and he thinks Ron is going to blow out the caucus. Media hype conveys a different perspective from what is happening on the ground here in Iowa. Says Santorum doesn't have enough time to peak. People watching football/sports...most of the undecided will be changed at the caucus. He thinks if the captains at each precinct are either a veteran, mother, or at least humble and well spoken those people will come on board to Paul. Says fiscal issues the most important and that the evangelicals are not going to be a major factor like with Huckabee...Seniors definitely have sway but they also will not turn out enough like in previous years. First time caucus goers will disproportionately support Paul, maybe Newt....says add 5% to whatever Ron gets in the next poll before the caucus, could very well be a blowout, his words....

it's all about turnout. We have to make sure those college kids show up, and precinct captains give solid speeches and of course poll watchers.

I'll settle for a 1% victory. Or hell, a 1 vote victory at this point. A win is a win!

A Ronslide would be good :)

a RONSLIDE is by definition at least a 5% lead between the good doctor and Mitt Romney
as there is a wide 10% gap between between the good doctor and the straggling 2nd tier.

Do we have people manned at every outpost to give good speeches?

a three way tie wouldnt be bad. santorum is at 3 percent in nh.

this would mean ron vs mitt

The campaign is taking care of organizing this.

you know i want a win in iowa for sure but if we happen to place 2nd we are still going to win this gop nomination! Ron Paul vs Status Quo. We just have to keep exposing the status quo which is everyone but Ron Paul!

Sadly one persons limited view. Most Dr Paul signs in 2008 but was that a win? Nope, not even close.

This false expectation is a hinderance to GOTV(Get out the vote).

I'd prefer a Paulalanche

a Paulalance has at least a Ron Paul 15% plus gap between
the good doctor and the straggling & bunching second tier.

Iowa Caucus Forecast:

Strong chance of Ronslide, with a front of Willard (Mitt Romney blizzard) creeping in from the south. Looks like the Frothy Frosting (Rick Santorum SURGE) that some people reported seeing will be dried up by the 3rd, so no worries folks!

Pauldemonium

a Pauldemonium is the good doctor solidly & confidently in high double digits
as the single digit straggling second tier bunches and cancels each other out.

I think the polls down play Ron Paul's numbers. Ron Paul will win with over 40% of the vote.

The Ronsoon is gonna really rain on the neo-cons parade.

I think a ton of Paul people hang up when they get automated phone robot calls, I know I did before I even realized what it was! I can't imagine us not outperforming all poll #s from those things

Aratus

a classic RONSLIDE is not ruled out despite the PPP poll statistical
threeway tie that sees newt gingrich just below rick santorum!!!!!

a paulquake (which is hard to measure in full) may unseat our potus in 11 months time.

'Randslide' worked.

'Ronslide', not so much.
