http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xndv2f_msnbc-slanders-ron-paul-badly-misquotes-him-from-earlier-cnn-interview-about-jim-crow-laws_news#rel-page-1

In an interview this morning with CNN's Candy Crowley on State Of The Union, Ron Paul had mentioned the Jim Crow laws stating,
" The Jim Crow laws obviously
had to get rid of and we're all better off
for that and that is an important issue
so i strongly supported that"

The CNN interview can be found here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvvciND6Xg4

So how did MSNBC report on this? They misquoted him by saying
He said the country was "better off with Jim Crow laws,"

take a look yourself
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/01/01/9871907-first-thoughts-breaking-down-the-final-iowa-poll?threadId=3309248&commentId=61173959#c61173959

So Doctor Paul said it was a very good thing America got rid of Jim Crow but MSNBC reported he said the country was better off with them, this is outrageous.
We supporters demand a retraction and an apology form MSNBC president him self Phil Griffin. After i had seen TPM's Josh Marshall say regarding Dr.Paul "He's
the candidate that thinks gays should be executed" my blood pressure had gone up high enough, but after seeing this it is clear MSNBC has a policy of slandering
Ron Paul and it should not be tolerated.

Here is Phil Griffin's email, feel free to flood his inbox

We got him to change the article and put an editorial note saying it was an error. Maybe we should keep these guns for when they DON'T make the correction.

We've already fixed this.In one sense that's not that relevant and so this vid should be shared far and wide because msnbc has strictly speaking not really acted in a contrite manner at all. They just corrected the erronious sentence and pretended as if nothing happened.

This msnbc fraud coupled with other media distortions like Politico's false e-mail alert with wrong poll data highlights how the media is systematically dishonest and agenda-driven. Therefore this vid needs to be spread anyway.

An apology is needed. A simple "oops" is not going to cut it.

Absolutely.

I think after they saw what happened to sales for Ms. Clarkson, they know we are large enough to make an impact on their advertisers.

Ron never said "without," either. The correction of a "typo" wasn't a correction (it's still wrong), and there's no way the initial error was a typo. In fact, I will say that it would be nearly statistically impossible to attempt to type "we're all better off for that" and come up with "better off with Jim Crow laws".

This is the truth and MSNBC made up an entire quote in order to say the opposite of what was actually said. Then they left it up for hours doing the most amount of damage only to change one word in a quote that Dr. Paul never said. Oops is not going to work and I will begin contacting each one of those sponsors while mentioning what we just did for Kelly Clarkson. Fuck these lying whores who profit off of war and death.
