Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) (http://www.whorunsgov.com/Profiles/Ron_Paul) reported raising $3.8 million in contributions from people giving less than $200, far more than the three front-runners in the race. Altogether Paul raised $8.3 million (http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/dcdev/forms/C00495820/748806/), including a $500,000 transfer from his congressional campaign, according to a new filing. He spent the money almost as fast as he took it in, with $7.5 million in expenditures.

This is Q3 reporting. I am predicting a very positive fundraising release for Q4. He did just get 6.7 million to close out December! :)

He still needs money. LOTS of expenditures this month, in SEVERAL states. some are going directly to SC to campaign after Iowa, but Ron is in contention in NH. He has to put ads in SC as a placeholder to some extent.

I'm estimating, but I think over 12 for Q4. And I expect more money to come from the Iowa results!

Almost all winners of SC have gone on to win nomination
