That's the best article I could find over the new proposed labor laws. Basically it says they're trying to increase the age from 13 all the way up to 16 for farm jobs. Detasseling, rogueing or basic jobs on someone's farm. I think if Ron Paul is against this from happening he could gain more people on the fence in Iowa. Him even bringing it up would tell Iowa voters that he cares.

Child labor laws are illegal and immoral. The Constitution says nothing about labor prohibition, and telling a kid that he is not allowed to work is immoral (and bad economics).

Oddly enough, someone wrote about Child Labor on Mises just a few days ago.

Ron would probably say it's up to the parents whether a child should work, not the government.
