We should NOT insult him. Just point out if you go there that he is not a fiscal conservative, voted to raise the debt ceiling 5 times, voted for the bridge to nowhere, voted for No Child Left Behind. Let evangelicals judge for themselves on evangelical issues. The point that is indisputable is that Santorum is ONLY a social conservative and in an election based on the economy, he is not going anywhere. He didn't even make the ballot in TN, VA or DC, and that isn't a comprehensive researched list, I just happened to notice those three.

edit, besides, your link says unavailable. Do you have it via the wayback machine? I WOULD be interested to see it.

I fixed the link.

The fact is, the only reason Santorum is even looked at is because of the Family Leader endorsement. Perry and Bachmann are already hitting him on fiscal issues. Need to hit him on his social issues.

Yeah, but that flyer I'm seeing references to (I'm trying to find it) is probably a hit job by some campaign group and I don't know if we want people to remotely think it is from us. Did it have anything beyond endorsing Spector on it? Because we can say that without associating ourselves with some other potentially unsavory group.

At this point they aren't going to lose the endorsement, so that is really something Steve Deace should be raising in support of (snicker) Gingrich.

I would use the headline on the article in any event if you circulate it, that he endorsed Spector.

but that stuff is so fuzzy, what computes in each individual's head to 'pro life'. I think it is MUCH more clear cut that the man is a big government progressive economically, with voting for no child left behind, mega spending bills, voting over and over and over and over and over and over to raise the debt ceiling, etc. I mean, that is irrefutable. And endorsing Obamacare Specter over Toomey fits that meme quite plainly as well. http://spectator.org/blog/2010/04/08/toomey-leads-specter-obamacare

Iowans For Life is not a campaign group.

What I'm writing in the commentary of his publications:

" I would just like Santorum to explain why he supported Specter, a strong pro-choice candidate who was fundamental in passing ObamaCare, instead of Toomey, who is a strong pro-life, pro-business man. I like Santorum's pro-life rethoric. But ...I think we all should consider not only the rethoric, but the record of the candidate. Frankly, I just can't understand his decision to support anyone who supports the right to kill babies, when he himself says abortion is the most despicable thing in America."

I don't know them and I haven't seen the flyer. I saw something aimed at Perry by some life group that looked like a hit job (not that it was inaccurate..) Just don't mention Ron. Abortion is more 'personal' and more likely to incite back lash imho. Obamacare and debt ceiling and no child left behind, less so. But everyone is going to do what they think is right.

When did I ever say mention Ron? Why in the world would you even mention Ron in ads against Santorum?

No. In Facebook ads you target people who frequent certain Facebook pages.

I don't have a problem with vetting in comments, I've been doing it all over the interwebs since last night. That's why I jumped to that conclusion. I'd just word the comment differently, I think the family stuff, overall, is Santorum's strength, and once they start researching his spending and economics, they will recoil. It never came up.

I don't know much about adwords (clearly!) I was just speaking about theme.

Which will do absolutely no good if we can't get a victory in Iowa.

Honestly, if RevPAC really wanted to help, they could be advertising online like crazy. Imagine a $500,000 online marketing budget.

Saw somewhere that he may also have voted for stimulus then criticized it. Any other points?

Heres an interesting video:
