it's on the front page of reddit, i thought it was my duty to spread the word:

the bill allows the government to strip away citizenship of anyone partaking in hostilities against the united states, this can include protests like the Occupy movement. We NEED Dr. Paul to spread awareness of this bill

Oath Keepers has launched a national effort to recall (or remove by any other lawful means) all of the oath breaking members of Congress, in both the House and Senate, who voted for the National Defense Appropriations Act of 2012 (NDAA), which contains provisions that authorize indefinite military detention and trial by military commission of “any person” – including U.S. citizens and lawful residents – upon the mere say-so of the President or one of his subordinates in the Executive Branch, such as within the Department of Defense or CIA

NDAA Vote Could Force Recall of Montana Senators, Congressman
By Christine Mattice
Dec 27, 2011 in Politics

On Christmas Day, Montanans decided to give their Congressional district a gift they won't soon forget— a notice of possible recall of the Senators and one Congressman who voted for the controversial, National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

You know what is funny is that just today Obama put a signing statement on NDAA saying his administration would not apply the law to U.S. Citizens. So now we get this jewel that simply removes your citizen ship so that he can apply NDAA to you.

It hasn't been voted on by the House or Senate yet. I wouldn't worry about this passing until maybe the third or fourth time it is introduced and tweaked. Or the second, if there's a high profile incident or something.

You do realize that the only true way to stop this, is going to take serious military action. Unfortunately, i dont think groups of civilians would have a chance, but with the miliatry on their side, it could be done easily. That's how its been done with many countries who revolted. They did it through military take over.

It is going to take several big wigs in the military to finally say 'ok that's it, enough', and they would easily be able to amass a large portion strong enough to overthrow all the treasonous scum in Washington. Why do you think we keep fighting these 'wars' all the time? The military is listening, thats why. If they dont listen, these corporate and political sociopaths would have not one leg to stand on.

Why do you think the Berlin wall came down? Not because Gorby listened to Reagan, it was because the soviet military finally got tired of shooting people and were standing down one after another, and realized what they were doing was just 'wrong'.

One day, soon enough, someone with a lot of power who pulls a lot of weight, is going to realize how 'wrong' this all is too, i just hope it comes sooner than later.

2011: NDAA is passed, US Government assures it's use in only of the most extreme cases

2012: SOPA is passed, the unregulated vile of the internet can no longer spew its hate speech

2013: Bill passes to automate speeding tickets, controversial, yet ultimately deemed necessary for the safety of the people

2014: The War on Terror is beginning to accelerate. Muslim nations are a greater threat than ever. The draft is reinstated in this time of extreme peril.

2015: US Government settles that the specific ideal of "freedom of speech" is an archaic ideal that was created in a vastly different era with completely different values, it is no longer applicable, especially because Muslim extremists could be sharing information through restricted channels.

2016: US Government introduces bill to help secure America by placing advanced profiling cameras on every street corner. Riots are now much more easily subsidized and dismantled.

2017: US Government begins "Freedom Chip Implantation Protocol" or FCIP, every American is required to have a small chip injected under the skin. The public is reassured this will defend them against the terrorist attacks, not only that but you are now easily trackable. The government assures the evangelicals that this is nothing like the "end-times" proclamations. High-ranking religious officials push the standard, claiming that "God wants us not only to be free, but to be secure."

2018: Insurgents are still an issue, some americans are cutting the mandatory chip out from underneath their skin. The government passes a new law called the "Reclamation of Security" or RoS. Now, the chips are far more intelligent, they are placed within the visual cortex so the human essentially becomes a remote "webcam." Through this method, it is much easier to track and identify insurgencies or people reading criminal documents.

2019: The uncertainties of the economic cycle are too detrimental to the US stability, what with the multiple wars. Most businesses are now owned by the government.

2020: The battle unemployment, jobs are now given by government appointment. Everyone now has jobs, the vast majority involve themselves in "defense preparation," building weapons of many kinds.

2021: America is now the envy of the world once again! 100% employment! 0 Crime! All food is regulated through small pills and packets that come neatly packaged in every grocery store, guaranteed nutrition! Business uncertainty is a thing of the past! No uncertainty! Everyone is issued the same house with the same furnishings! Of course, each family is restricted to two offspring, if more are conceived the two guilty parties are immediately sterilized at the child is "reassigned" to another facility.

The status quo of Bill O'Reilies and Sean Hannities quietly come on the government controlled networks to calm the public.

"Nothing is wrong. Everything is fine."

I would like to point out that that bill, if passed and signed into law, would not strip you of any rights. No law strips anyone of any rights. The government just codifies it's refusal to respect your rights. Only you can strip yourself of your rights. In the fight for liberty, you only lose when you give up. The only way to lose your rights is to give them up.

But yeah, if this shit keeps up... Next January won't come fast enough.

Idunno. We already have decentralized DNS, decentralized currency, and decentralized models of government. The problem being only a sliver's worth of people are really using the technology with intent to un-link themselves from government control. For almost everyone, we're subject to increasingly centralized ISPs (maybe two affordable broadband options in their area), Internet censorship, increased ISP snooping, social media psyops by gov't, and widespread corporate deceit in consumers' rating services. All this has been going on while - and in many cases as a product of, more centralized and over-reaching government expansion.

So, while I'm sure "hacktivists" (and liberty-friendly politicians) can overcome everything the USG throws at us, only a few will inconvenience themselves to actually get away from government.
