Brady Wright made the flyer! I think it is awesome too.

Please post and forward to everyone anywhere near OKC. We want the neighboring states to participate too and make this huge.

The Liberty Bell was at the Texas Straw Poll and many of you saw Ron Paul ring the bell there (captured on video). He then turned to the crowd, raised his hands and said 'for Liberty'! It was a spine tingling moment as he smiled and the crowd cheered. You will have an opportunity at this rally to ring the bell too.

Bring the family and don't miss this event!

We are planning a fundraiser - dinner and auction - the night before the rally - Dec 1st in OKC.

Should be a lot of fun!

It has a short fuse rsvp on it - need committment by Nov 26th. Cost is $30 at the door - please pm me if you are interested in attending or go to www.ronpaul.meetup.com/110 for more information and you can contact Brady there. If you are a member of the OKC meetup - just rsvp online and be sure to include your spouse and guests in count and detail slot.

Hope to see you there!

Yes, we need an *accurate* RSVP count by Monday, Nov. 26th. For those who would like to come and not eat dinner, you may come for free, by all means. Those who will be eating, 100% of your $30 donation goes straight to the national campaign (we will hand you a campaign donation envelope).

At the dinner there will be an auction where we will be auctioning off some items which have been personally signed by Ron Paul himself.

Dress will be business casual. For all the info, see the meetup event here:
http://ronpaul.meetup.com/110/calendar/6778833/

Note for out-of-towners: the center where we are holding the dinner has very affordable lodging you can take advantage of: $50 per night for single occupancy, and $10 for each additional occupant up to 4. See the center's website (link at the meetup event page) for more info.

CAPITOL MALL FREEDOM RALLY
Oklahomans ring the Liberty Bell in support of Presidential candidate Dr. Ron Paul.
Oklahomans for Presidential candidate Dr. Ron Paul will be holding a rally at the State Capitol on Sunday, December 2nd at 2:00 pm. Hundreds of Oklahomans are expected to attend the event. Speakers will include State Representative Charles Key, former State Representative Porter Davis, and Robert Paul, son of Presidential candidate Ron Paul. The public is also welcomed to come ring the nation's only traveling replica of the Liberty Bell which will be located near the south steps of the Capitol. The event will begin with a march to the Capitol, ringing of the Liberty Bell, and will conclude with speeches inside the Capitol's second floor rotunda.

Congressman Ron Paul won the Tulsa State Fair GOP Presidential straw poll and placed third in the Oklahoma County GOP State Fair straw poll. Dr. Paul has 11 grassroots 'meetup' groups in the state of Oklahoma, while other presidential candidates have no more than one. For more information on these meetup groups, visit http://ronpaul.meetup.com.

Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital and is seeking the 2008 Republican nomination for President of the United States. As a Congressman, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. For more information about Ron Paul, visit http://www.ronpaul2008.com.

Most of you are aware that we will be having a march that leads into the rally itself. If you are participating in the march (a good idea), there is some specific information you MUST have for this whole thing to work. The most important piece of information is this: the rally is scheduled to start at 2:00pm, so the march must occur before that, so we ask everyone to meet at the assembly area at 1:30pm (see the map below - it is between Culbertson and 16th on Lincoln). The march will probably commence at about 1:45 and should arrive at the Capitol right on time for the rally. Make sure anyone you have told about this event knows this if they plan to participate in the march!

The second most important item is to make sure your pockets are pretty much empty before you meet at the assembly area. You will have to go through a security checkpoint to get inside the capitol, so we'll need to make that go as fast as possible for everybody, so make sure you don't have any items on you that would set off the detector that you cannot quickly drop into the bowl and retrieve again at the checkpoint.

Bring any hand-held Ron Paul signs you may have, but realize they may have to be set aside as we go inside the Capitol as their rules prohibit taking signs into the Capitol itself. I'm still trying to work that one out.

For those of you who missed the RSVP deadline for the fundraiser dinner, you are still welcome to attend the auction which will follow the dinner. The auction is scheduled to begin around 8:00pm, but you may come much earlier (and trust me, you will want to). Below is a partial list of some of the items which will be put up for auction:

* An autographed 8"x10" photo of Ron Paul

* A signed copy of Ron Paul's book, "A Foreign Policy of Freedom"

* A framed replica of the US Constitution, personally signed by Ron Paul

* An engraved Mossberg shotgun (12 guage I believe). The engraving reads:
Ron Paul
Champion of the Constitution
(We still need to find a licensed firearms dealer who is willing to attend the auction to legally transfer the gun to the high bidder, so if you know someone who can help out with that, please let me know directly - Brady 405-650-1756)

Also, for those who have been wondering, the dress for the dinner will be business casual. It should be a really fun time, so everyone who can, please try to come! This will be a great set-up for the rally the next day. See you there!

Suggest you come about 7:30PM if at all possible;)
