Likely, Bachmann and Gingrich. Yet, both of them are only attacking Paul.. It's so obvious at this point what's up.

Media is saying he's the next thing and he has never been vetted and none of the media cares because they figure he can't go anywhere except maybe south carolina, states Romney never planned to win, to begin with. He has zero organization, isn't on the ballot in Virginia or DC, and when vetted will be found to be a big government liberal - he is only conservative socially, not fiscally. Voted 5 times to raise the debt ceiling, voted to create the no child left behind and medicare expansion for corporatists which is bankrupting medicare, etc etc etc. Santorum has 3% in NH, though.

The evangelical voters. They are a large block of voters whom are influenced by their individual church leaders and they rally around who they are told to support.

Iowa talk radio is trying to coalesce social con's around Santorum. looks like media will try to make Santorum the story.

I believe Santorum's numbers. Gingrich fell. Those voters had to go somewhere. A small amount made it over to us, putting us tied for first. But unforunately, not much of the anti-Romney neo-con vote was going to go to us. It also wasn't going to go to Romney. It had to go to "the new" anti-Romney neo-con, and Santorum was the only one left.

I'm fine with it. He's polling 3% in NH and while he may do well in Iowa, he will not win -- but he IS needed to split up the vote.
Would you guys rather Romney was getting those Santorum voters???

The media is probably doing everything they can to turn this into our worst case scenario, which would probably be:

1. Romney
2. Santorum
3. Paul

What is the sample population Ras used? Registered Republicans or all people likely to attend the caucuses. If the former, we're in good shape. If the latter, well we got our work cut out for us.

The two big polls will be the DMR's released tomorrow and PPP's released Sunday night. Those two should give us the best looks at where we're at.

No way Santorum surged that high

I predicted his surge before the last debate. He's the only candidate that hasn't risen and fallen in the polls yet. As Gingrich was under attack I knew people would check out Santorum, who would also be promoted a bit by the media.

I also knew once the campaign released the second attack ad on gingrich that they missed an opportunity to tear down Romney, whose support has been consistent for years. I don't expect Frothy to overtake Ron in Iowa.

It looks to me like Ron Paul will get second in Iowa. If that is the case, does that mean it's over?

1. Romney
2. Santorum
3. Paul

It could backfire and give us our best case scenario though:

1)Paul
2)Santorum
3)Romney

Actually, it would be even better if Gingrich beat out Romney for third. We need something to dampen Romney's momentum. Santorum is going nowhere in NH.

Gingrich goes down, Santorum bubbles up.

It's just the same crowd that was for Bachmann before they were with Perry, before they were with Cain, before they were with Gingrich. They're just going wherever their shepherds herd them.

No, worst case scenario has Ron Paul a lot lower than 3rd. Worst means worst, which I guess would be 7th. Gingrich at 2 would be worse than Santorum at 2.

We need to nullify Romney's momentum by taking it upon ourselves to attack him if the campaign can't afford to.

Get on youtube, find all the flip flop videos, and mass distribute them to all of your family and friends.

Poll was done on 12/28 (Rassmussen from 12/19)

Romney 23(-2)
Paul 22 (+2)
Santorum 16 (+6)
Gingrich 13 (-4)
Perry 13 (+3)
Bachman 5 (-1)
Huntsman 3 (-1)

Great Numbers, closed a 5pt gap to 1pt

Not true. Rasmussen polled likely caucus goers but does not give the breakdown of Republicans, Independents, Democrats or Newbies. You might have to pay for such info from him these days.

Rasmussen is among the most accurate polling companies out there today. Scott knows what he is doing people.

I beg to differ. A poll just released thought Mitt was the most conservative. Not shitting you!!!

Last Rasmussen poll had Paul at 20% and Romney at 25%. I'll take this.

PPP has us winning, while CNN, NBC and Rasmussen have Paul a very close second. That's about every reputable poll saying Paul can win if his supporters come out. Who wouldn't have signed up for that in 2008?

See what the upcoming DMR and PPP polls say.

Santorum is pulling evangelicals from Bachmann, since her campaign has effectively ended. On top of that, the media has been hyping a "Santorum surge", so of course naturally, the lemmings line up.

This has happened through the entire campaign. And its going to stop happening now? Nope. The surge of Frothy out of the MSM anus is a good thing.
