Add Mr. Adler to other thousands of so-called "journalists" and "commentators" who don't know what the term isolationist means (I blame government schools).
A man who supports ending embargoes with Cuba, opposes murderous sanctions and is against tariffs in favor of free trade is an isolationist?
In addition to Adler's apparently illiteracy, he's also a hypocrite. Chalk him up as another progressive who favors restricted/redistributed trade. Is he an isolationist then? :rolleyes:
All that matters to the right is war. All that matters to the left is welfare. Oppose foreign bribes, err "aid", and pre-emptive strikes and they'll all label you an isolationist, as if those are the only two components of foreign policy.
