His "rise" in Iowa is only threatening to Newt Gingrich.
We need to stay focused.
The race in Iowa is between Dr. Paul and Mitt Romney.
The race in New Hampshire is between Dr. Paul and Mitt Romney.
Whether the media likes it or not, the anti-Romney has already been chosen.
I believe that once Iowa and New Hampshire are over, the entire race may become a Romney vs Paul election because of certain factors:
- What are the chances of Gingrich surviving a loss to Rick Santorum in Iowa? Probably slim. His campaign will become more laughable than it already is.
- What are the chances of Santorum performing well in New Hampshire? SLIM.
- What would a Santorum "surge" do in South Carolina? Make it easier for us by stealing votes from Romney, Gingrich and Perry/Bachmann if either of them are still running.
Rick Santorum's rise in Iowa is no more threatening than that of Jon Huntsman's in New Hampshire.
