PPP Twitter:

Everyone on our New Hampshire poll is within 2 points of where they were 10 days ago except for Newt, who's down 4

We were at 19%.

So the highest we're at is 21%. That's still pretty solid.

Hopefully Romney is down and Paul is up 2.

Plus Newt dropping 4 points is good. So a confirmed current 2nd place.
Hopefully Romney is down and Paul is up 2.
That would be good, what was Romney at last time again. I remember 35 but I'm not positive. So best case is like 33 romney 21 paul

If we win Iowa, we can come in a close second or win NH. Bank on it.

20%+ in NH going into the Iowa caucus is phenomenal!

My guess is that it comes out between 11pm and 12am eastern. That is when they have been releasing most of their polls.

My guess:

Romney 36%

If it is this, we can win.

33-37% Romney
17-21% Paul
13% Gingrich
11-15% Huntsman

Guessing Huntsman and Paul on the lower end of their ranges and Romney at the higher end of his. Guessing 37%, 18%, 12%.

It has to be "[/" when you close the quote. Or you can just click "Reply With Quote" on the bottom right hand corner of the post you want to quote.

Hoping for...

Romney 33 [-2]
Paul 21 [+2]
Huntsman 13 [even]
Newt 13 [confirmed by PPP, -4]

That is basically best case scenario...

33-37% Romney
17-21% Paul
13% Gingrich
11-15% Huntsman

Guessing Huntsman and Paul on the lower end of their ranges and Romney at the higher end of his. Guessing 37%, 18%, 12%.

Since PPP said Paul is clearly in 2nd, 15% for Huntsman seems unlikely.

Romney 36%
Paul 21%

Dead on. :)

In looking at the RCP average and finale results in the RCP polling data for the 2008 GOP primaries, it's interesting to see that everybody except the top two candidates numbers went down. I guess this means that a lot of people will choose who they're going to vote for based on their favorite of the top two. I realize this isn't exactly surprising, but it's good to know that Dr. Paul is in the top two.

This race is looking more and more like it's going to come down to Romney vs. Paul. In 2008, Huckabee didn't have the money or organization that Paul does now and finished a distant third in New Hampshire. Paul is looking to win Iowa and place at least second in NH. He's got more money and organization than Huckabee did. If Paul and Romney are the top two in both Iowa and NH, then Bachman, Santorum and Huntsman will be relegated to second tier status. As for Perry and Gingrich, South Carolina will be their big test.
