Will tommorow. Nearly bed time here in Australia.

I've got the source videos on my HDD. They were all online already though.

Amazing video. Yes, please make a shorter one. You know people and their attention spans. :(

Joe3113

Does anybody have any preferences about which clips should stay in for the shorter version?

Also how long it should be (I suppose it should be under 1min)?

LibertyEagle
12-29-2011, 06:46 AM
I don't think it has to be that short, Joe. Just not 4 minutes. Any that you can cut it down would be helpful in getting others (the non-RP faithful) to watch it.

IMHO, I would cut the 2008 comparisons down to the first 33 seconds, then add the Obama clip where he talks about influence, and maybe the Chris Matthews one where Obama has won.

The rest of the 2012 ones are good to keep. Maybe less Maddow. More focus on the clips that actually mention Paul (ie the last one could probably be put in place of a Maddow one).

Emerick
12-29-2011, 06:56 AM
I think there is too much of Rachel Maddow. We don't have to prove the point over and over again. Just show the diversity of the attack, to prove how the WHOLE establishment is scared to death of Ron Paul. I think there's too much of Obama and Huckabee. Again, just prove your point by quoting those same media guys that now are saying Iowa doesn't mean anything.

And I would start with a question: "Do you think the media establishment should decide who is should be the president for you?". And then put the videos.

I would also put a quote while playing some clip saying: "So, if you don't vote for their candidate, then your vote doesn't matter at all?".

And I would end with this: "It's time to say: enough is enough! 'Truth is treason in an Empire of lies' - Ron Paul"

As long as this stays on the front pahe, it eventually goes viral. But you may want to post it on DailyPaul too. Brilliant job. I did rip it to add captions on my channel (see my sig) but gave you full credit.

Again, I think the first part is too long. Don't put so much of Huckabee. After all, he LOST the nomination. So, just point out how the media felt it was important, how he did it too and how Obama also thought the exact same thing. You don't need to focus on someone who won Iowa and lost the nomination.

Huckabee won several states and got something like 3 million votes.

They are not treating Ron Paul like someone who can make that happen.

My point is, they made a stink about Huckabee, who was doing worse than RP in NH.

I know. I'm not saying to get ALL of Huckabee off. No, I'm saying it can be shortened a bit. We must realize this: if we can deliver the same message with the same powerfullness, it's better to do it as short as possible, because some people will just not see it. Even if it's a 2 minutes thing, if we can reduce it to 1 minute it's better, of course, as long as we can mantain the same effectiveness in making our point.

That's why I'm saying. Maybe try to reduce it and let people see it - if it's not much trouble, of course. Again, I congratulate you for your job, which is AWESOME.

You have a point yeah, but again, Huckabee won several states. My point is more that if Huckabee was given a chance and media coverage, Ron Paul also deserves it.

Maybe I'll make one without Huckabee. In fact I will now.

I think it would be better to have just a very little bit of Huckabee, so people remember of that, but just don't put it a lot. Maybe give him at most 3 seconds. It would be enough.

Just one more suggestion: try to put some coverage from 2012 saying how Iowa is crucial before Ron took the lead. It would make the point more forcefully.

If the media made half a deal about Ron Paul in Iowa as they did with Huckabee we would have this nomination in the bag.

Instead its constant ignoring of him, hit pieces, propaganda, etc

any way to get a side by side version such as a clip of a pundit saying how important Iowa was in 2007, then followed immediately by there statements recently? Showing a Direct change focused on a single person ala "flip flop" would be more powerful I think.

Maddow was having an orgasm over Obama in 2008 when he won iowa. I might do one with her.

No doubt the videos are out there. If anyone finds them let me know.

I think everybody should spread this. Let's face it, we are running against ALL the bipartisan media, against BOTH parties, against right and left. Media and parties credibility are in a great low. We must show everybody this. Once we prove how biased against Ron Paul they are, then we will eventually win the battle against them. Otherwise, if let them make up any nonsensical narrative they want, we won't be in good shape soon, because it's hard to maintain the high support when your candidate is bashed from all sides, when people think Ron's supporter is crazy etc.

This is all about social engineering. They know that if they push a series of lies, people will buy the crap eventually. So, we must fight back exposing them.

Doug Wead said the last two Presidents, Barack Obama and Bush 43, won the Iowa caucuses, failed to win in New Hampshire, and went on to win the Presidency. That's our meme if we finish a close second in NH.

George Walker Bush - won Iowa, 2nd in NH, won the Presidency
Barack Obama - won Iowa, 2nd in NH, won the Presidency
