Newt Gingrich has been picking up support as an alternative to the former Massachusetts governor.
The former House speaker has moved to the top in recent polling in Ohio,
just as Republican presidential candidates prepare for the Jan. 3 caucuses in Iowa,
followed closely by the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries.
Ohio's presidential primary is scheduled for March 6 --

Yes it was cancelled anewvoice.

The debate was trumped by the smart move of the Ron Paul campaign,
followed by Romney then many of the others, who opted out.

Finally, "the Donald" himself even gave up.

It was a huge embarrassment for Newton "the Nutt", and for Santorum -
but mostly Gingrich and his disparaging remarks against Ron Paul.

Newton has dropped like a rock in water ever since -
yep, Gingrich is toast . . . done - put a fork in him.

Reminds me of Ghouliani last election who placed alot of his hopes on NY.
Grinch is finished if he comes in 4th in IA and NH , and it's looking like thats what will happen.Possibly even 5th in IA behind Santorum.
