Seems risky to me.

Romney avoided interviews for almost a year while he was in the lead.

very high risk, very low reward. i wouldnt have done it. give gingrich the slot and let him shoot himself in the foot again, he's good at it.

I don't see why he can't spend the next few days preparing for these questions. It's not as if Wallace is going to hit Paul with anything out of the blue. You know what to expect.

Yes. Too much risk for my taste. I would not have done it. With Perry and Bachmann going on, I would have left it be a show for "also-rans".

Oh this will be good with the Sorenson defection.

Everyone will be too hung over to notice. Though with the recent Bachmann aide drama this could get absolutely hilarious

I wish he wasn't doing it too. Why risk it when we're this close to winning this thing?

i hope for once, ron can be the typical politician and stick to his talking points: constitution, liberty, debt crisis.

yes,i want him to deal in soundbites:

newsletters? - i am the only defender of liberty and constitutional freedom

electability? - i am leading the polls and am on virigina ballot unlike other contenders -you should ask if they intend to run 3rd party.i am the leader here

iran -follow the constitution.listen to israeli pm.calm heads are better than hot heads.carry big stick, speak softly (nice soundbite)

kill them using soundbites.no ranting,no rambling.

sigh.i hope i am not asking much

I am beginning to wonder about some of the people surrounding the good doctor and how he's being prepped.

Fox panel coming up next. Not the usual cast of characters, no Kristol or Mara or Juan Williams, Governor Branstad will be one of the panelists.

Geesh, were we polling ~28% the first day?? That's something we couldn't have dreamed of in 2008.

He had non stop attacks in media and today is his first chance at a response. Unfortunately they are actively trying to say he peaked rather than is weathering a storm.

Ok, really wtf!?? There is no way in fuck that Santorum is going to surge like that in 2 days, give me a break. Do you guys really believe this? 2 DAYS!!? 9% to 21% over two days, with that four day poll? That is just impossible, not even Newt did that. Now, i can tell you that i know who he is getting votes from, its definitely coming from mainly Bachmann, since she has deflated so badly, and some from Gingrich and Perry. But still, 2 days!? Who the hell gains 11% in 2 days? Even that PPP poll said he had high favor, yet his numbers stayed the same.

This is totally warped. No way he is that high up. I bet you anything his caucus % is no more than 13.

a bunch of evangelicals were told to coalesce and when Bachmann started going down went to Santorum immediately assuming he is fiscally conservative which he is not. Unfortunately the Sorenson thing accelerated MB's decline and her lying about the payments (as she previously accused others of buying endorsements) made those leaving her, who still liked her, highly unlikely to go to Ron.

It turns out that Bachmann's campaign chair leaving may have actually hurt Ron.
