That may have been CNN's final poll although this poll was done earlier than their final one last time so maybe they will go again during the weekend?

In Iowa, a total of 999 registered Republicans were interviewed by telephone including 452 likely voters on
December 21-24 and December 26-27. Sample was drawn from the complete list of registered Republican
voters provided by the Iowa Secretary of State and weighted to reflect the statewide totals for all registered
Republicans for gender, age, amount of time registered at the current address, region of the state, and
population parameters of the respondents' zip codes. Likely voters were identified based on each
respondent's stated intention to participate in the 2012 primary, interest in the campaign to date, and voting
history as provided by the respondent and the Iowa Secretary of State. Only registered Republicans can
participate in the Iowa Republican presidential caucuses

^^ Is this true?

Yes, but any Iowa resident can register on-site (even if they're Democrats), and there's no competing D primary we have to worry about.

I'm sure CNN will want to do another, more accurate one, and not be stuck with a GOP only electorate poll as their last in their polling ranking.

Marist had Ron down by two to Mitt and is landline with a few Ds + Is!
CNN had ron down by four and was primarily GOP caucus goes...
PPP had Ron UP by four and includes Ds + Is realistically!!
he's either going to win this or be a tie like Ames!!!

A tie like Ames would ultimately be the exact same thing as failure. Remember how everyone and his dog was praising Michelle Bachmann's incredible skills and how much of a frontrunner she was while utterly ignoring Paul?

Its Iowa or bust (unless we enter a world in which we somehow lose Iowa but win New Hampshire). If we come anything less than first, then there is no chance of winning the nomination. Even if we win Iowa it will be quite hard. Maybe we'll get a decent amount of delegates without an Iowa win, but we'll never get momentum or a chance at victory.

PPP's final Iowa poll comes out Sunday.

This is the only poll I really care about. They have proven to us that they aren't biased to Ron, and have a history of accuracy. Any poll conducted by a mainstream news outlet like CNN or NBC is highly questionable imo, and I'd say Rasmussen polls belong in Hot Topics.

Be prepared for IOWA GOP insiders to come out and smear Ron Paul over the weekend. People like King and Grassley.

Just be prepared.
