My husband just asked that instead of buying him a Christmas present this year, I donate the money in his name to Ron Paul. I think that's a brilliant idea and have asked that he do the same for me. Between us we can make a very generous donation to this deserving candidate instead of just adding more "stuff" to our lives.
Perhaps some of you can suggest this to your own families. The success of Ron Paul and "Hope for America" will be driven by average American families who understand what is at stake in the 2008 presidential election and yearn for a new ethical and positive era in our nation.
Regardless of what holiday you celebrate at this time of year it's a great way to make a meaningful difference.
