Hi everybody,

Trying to find out how the propagation is going... Please visit www.TeaParty07.com .com website and let me know what you see and where you are located in the world...

Trevor and I are trying to work on giving control of the website to him due to the ICANN rules (no transfer of domain ownership within 60 days of purchase).
Basically we are trying to point the domain from where I purchased it at Yahoo Small Business and pointing it to where Trevor is hosting the site.

When I do DNS reports, it is giving me an error...

You should see parchment on a black background

Thanks!

There is an area set up on TeaParty07.org to submit your email to say that you will donate, etc.... That may be throwing people who don't click your hyperlink off and making them think they are getting "the real thing".

I just did a whois on this domain, and they have all their info hidden. Supposedly already has 528 signups. I wish there was a way to contact this person so maybe the .com and .org people could coordinate something. This is going to add some confusions, especially when we are trying to get estimates of people who have signed up.

Can't see anything here in Texas... so, I probed the hosting DNS servers for the site. There is no information which means it is not possible to resolve the site. Anybody seeing something right now is probably looking at cached information... or, the wrong domain name. Until the DNS information is corrected at ns30.domaincontrol.com and ns29.domaincontrol.com (hosted by Yahoo) nobody is going to see anything.

Who's responsible for TeaParty.com and can I help?

Can someone (admin) of th website give explanation of what was done prior to the site being brought down. I don't think it is 'propagation' guys. (and I tell this because I KNOW what happens behind the scenes with domain lookups). It must be stuck at the registrar level...

Did someone transfer domain between two parties or/between registrars?....
was a public IP changed?....hosting provider change?

The site works for me now, but I'm a bit frustrated. I really thought this event was going to be more neutral for us, but its been turned into an anti-fed event.

I love the idea of a revolution against oppression, but I don't see why it has to be this specific. The gold standard is perhaps Dr. Paul's most controversial stance in his entire platform, it's the one most dogged on by sideliners who might otherwise be supporters. I know this sounds like Nov 5th all over again, I just feel compelled to say that it struck me when I read it.

You know, after the 5th's success, from a hacker's social engineering skills point of view, I WILL NOT SIGN UP FOR 12/16!!!

Despite questions answered by the real owner of the site, this is a great way to exploit Internet support!

If you know about the Boston Tea Party event, there is no reason you should register on ANY website as the person that is putting this idea forward (or persons, or collective group of Constitutionalists) will be rewarded with praise from the lamestream media. I know some are out for fame. Me? I'm just out to make America great again; to be part of that is inumerable in value!

And its working for me in Seattle area, Embarq DSL, but there are some people over here who it is not working for.

Yea I dont necessarily mind the "No Taxation through inflation" deal, but the whole pushing the anti-fed stuff is not the path we should go with this.

Nothing wrong with the criticism, but isn't abolishing the fed a part of Ron Paul's platform? Most Americans don't know anything about this and I don't see how it is controversial, it's a fact! Why not educate and force the MSM to speak about the Fed and get the word out? Understanding what the Fed does shows how important voting for Ron Paul is in my opinion. I really feel this tie-in is an opportunity of a lifetime. The MSM is going to push it and the people will be educated. That's the name of this whole game as I see it.

Ron Paul is anti-Fed!!

Ron Paul is anti-Fed.

Uneducated people file it into the looney / regressive category as opposed to the insightful / progressive one. Ron Paul's platform reaches out to many people from many affiliations. Although Ron may have a stance on this issue, you're incorrectly pinning down the movement to a hotbed issue that not even all existing Ron Paul supporters agree on.

This will be one of our biggest moments in the campaign, we should have a broad stance as its foundation. We're taking the date too literally by going anti-fed / anti-tax. The basic understanding of the Boston Tea Party in a general sense is that it's anti-oppressive, pro-freedom, and represents peaceful disobedience. That should be the main focus; it's a message that nobody can bash from any standpoint.

I say go for mainstream attention, grab a voter and get them hooked on Ron Paul. If they embrace him and he becomes the nominee or better yet President, people will learn about the Fed soon enough. Better to sway them first so they take the message more seriously because its a lot to swallow, rather than use the movement as a publicity stunt on a single issue.

Ron Paul is anti-Fed!!

I think that is totally true. The public has no idea what the Federal Reserve is. A statement about eliminating it couldn't really be that controversial. The people who do know the most about the Federal Reserve in the financial community seem to be starting to look at Ron Paul as their hero.

OK I'll take out the Fed as a focus but I think we should keep the tax part. We do have inflation (and people hate inflation) and also its a great tie-in with the tea party theme. They protested a tax, we're protesting a tax.

I'll move the Fed movie down the page, keep it to one movie only and pull the "What is the Federal Reserve?" question. Now it can still educate some without connecting the Fed to this effort as an issue.

If anyone wants to make some Fed movie suggestions feel free. I've got one with Ron Paul speaking and "Freedom to Fascism" up there now. I'm guessing people will want to have a video with Ron Paul speaking... let me know.

I agree whole-heartedly with the above sentiment... anti-oppression, pro-freedom, anti-war, pro-peace (foreign and domestic)... that's what rallies a vast majority of Paul's new support.

Economy is also important though - especially given how awful it has become (re: devalued dollar) - so attention should be paid to this topic as well..

Having an assortment of Youtubes (short form - 3min or so) would certainly do the trick. One for every major issue -

I couldn't find it without looking at my previous posts..

a DNS (Domain Name Server).. is kinda like a phone/address book for the Internet..

it tells where a website is.. (Name.. like.. RonPaulFourms.com)

just.. 'spread'.. like.. spread around..

the DNS need to know the IP address of the site.. where to find it..

like.. telling someone where you are.. so they can find you..

Thanks!

Here is what I get.

I don't get to much traffic, but linking can help the search engines. Maybe Ron Paul bloggers, should mention the candidates who are searched for behind Ron Paul.

Like in the text of their post mention Clinton's, Rudy's, Obama's, etcs names, in such a way, that could help the tea party site get up near the top when people search for other candidates.

example

Title : You thought the "Money Bomb" was Big - Wait for the Tea Party '07 for Ron Paul

"(intro text)
....
(Near the bottom of the post).... Real people are really excited about Ron Paul. The Money Bomb brought in $4.2 million dollars in actual donations in a 24 hour period on November 5th. This was done almost entirely online, organized by the grass root organization, by over 37,000 people. Where is the large scale grass root support for Rudy Giuliani, Hillary Clinton, Fred Thompson, Barack Obama, John McCain, John Edwards, Mitt Romney, or any of the other candidates running to be the next President of the United States of America."
