Saw the Kudlow advertisement during the commercial break. Said something about trouble for Ron Paul and asking if Mitt already had the nomination locked up. ugh

How can he let that rat journalist get away with calling the newsletters "white supremacism, neonazism, racism and anti-semitism?"
I'm sorry but a newsletter calling MLK an adulterer is not a white supremacist newsletter. This is like Soviet news.

I'm so pissed off right now. Doug Wead just laid down like a snake and let Ron Paul get thrashed without defending him.

Nah, I think Doug did alright. I give it a 7.5 on the 10 scale.

But it's obvious that Kudlow has been taking tips from Gloria Borger on how to ignore an answer and continue asking the same question. Some viewers actually fall for that stuff.

JuicyG
12-27-2011, 06:34 PM
It was a hit job. Doug managed though to squeeze some positives out saying something like ~Accusations are untrue because polls show increase. If they were true, it wouldn`t be the case~ or something similar. Kudlow kept on saying BS lies like "I`m horrified by these newsletters" and kept on quoting from there. Was painfully obvious he had an agenda. Doug also managed to squeeze positives about Ron Paul`s economic policy which Kudlow agreed with.

I know. There were a few less than desirable statements in a few of them, but there were tons of newsletters put out. They are blowing this all out of proportion.

I hope Dr. Paul is right about not attacking this BS head-on.

You better believe it.

Paul (and all the other candidates) surely have private polling firms cranking out internal numbers daily.

NEPatriot
12-27-2011, 06:39 PM
I suggest everyone go read these newsletters in their entirety. You'll be so incredibly agitated afterwards over how phony this entire story is. The one line, the ONE LINE, that could be called racist is the welfare line, but considering this was going on during a time when massive amounts of inner city youth were rioting, pillaging and burning Los Angeles to the ground, it isn't exactly white supremacy. Far from. And how many times have I heard MAINSTREAM news in the last two years talk about how if entitlements came to an end inner cities would be set on fire with riots? This is just a bullshit fake story. We're living in a virtual reality.

That's the worst sentence and the only sentence out of thousands of newsletters and Ron Paul didn't even write it. To use that to slander the man is outrageous.
I DESPISE the media.

Kudlow just told someone he was interviewing that since Gingrich and Romney both pushed for an individual mandate in health insurance, that Republicans were nominating the wrong guy. As if the nomination was already decided and it was going to be one of those.

Then, Kudlow went on to push for a brokered convention and nominating Paul Ryan.

Hi Larry,
I've watched you many times on videos interviewing Ron Paul, that's why I was so amazed that you pretended to be so shocked at a few 20 year old comments that you know damn well Ron did not write.
I think you should do your bit to clarify the real situation, Larry.
Why don't you recommend that no presidential candidate be allowed to accept contributions from employees of any bank that received bailouts from the Fed? Just to keep 'em a little bit more honest.
That seems fair to me.

Take Mitt for example, and this is just a quick look, not at all complete.

Lew Rockwell needs to step up and take the heat off from this shit. They won't be happy until the writers come forward. If Lew didn't write it, he has to take the blame for not noticing it as chief editor and he needs to expose who wrote this stuff.

I'm tired of hearing about it. Put the shit to bed.

I dont think so. I think the media gave it their best shot and failed.

Theyre now scratching their heads and asking what else they need to do in order to sink this man so they'll keep trying and we'll keep responding.

What the media doesnt seem to understand is that people believe Ron Paul.

You do realize that if its not this, it will be something else. Theyre not going to stop.

Kudlow was practically ranting incoherently.

So the first round of attacks on Dr. Paul did not succeed; therefore, they determined they must pile it on again and go even harder to try to destroy him. What a horrible excuse for reporting and a horrible hit piece. He did not want to hear anything Wead was saying; he just wanted to get his attack over the airwaves along with his "distinguished" panel.

Would that they bothered to bring forth such actually important information about Romney, just as Poseter-Pismo Pam noted in her letter to Kudlow in earlier post.

What a sham interview.

Yes. The media has given it their best shot. If Doug Wead is right, it hasn't hurt Ron Paul, but Wead didn't indicate whether he was talking about Iowa polls or national polls. I suppose we won't know for sure until Tuesday.

I didn't think that Wead was all that bad. It was Kudlow who was doing all the ranting and raving, and I don't know how you respond to that kind of thing except by remaining calm and smiling.

I'm not sure that bringing Lew Rockwell out to explain the situation further wouldn't make matters evenworse. It would probably prolong the controversy. This came out 4 years ago, and it didn't last too long.

The last thing I've seen is a direct quote from one of Ron Paul's books claiming that he's sexist so it appears that they're already moving on to other stuff. But I don't think it's going to matter too much. They're not going to be able to get too far by claiming that Ron Paul is politically incorrect. Everyone knows that already, and they're sick and tired of all this political correctness anyway. What is Ron supposed to do? Consult Bill Clinton? The media's double standard on this subject is just too obvious.
