He should challenge Romney to a one on one debate, it'd be beneficial to both of them.

Absolutely not. Newt is toast. He has no money. This will be a two man race between Ron Paul and Romney within 3 weeks. Perry may hang around just because he has money to blow, but it won't last forever...

Don't punch down. The best thing that could happen if there was a one-on-one with Mitt, but unfortunately Mitt does the very bare minimum, and tries his best not to do anything that might hurt him.

Newt is the worst person to challenge to a debate. Ron would clearly win the factual end but Newt can spew endless lines of sensationalized rhetoric that neo-cons love to hear.

Newt's crashing and burning. no need to kick him while he's down. I think it's gonna be Paul vs. Romney from now on, with the neocons crying about how Paul doesn't count yet still winning.

Thank you. Supporters need to get the idea out of their heads that Ron is god, let's realize his good points and also his bad, debates ARE NOT his strong points, he is right in what he says, but he is not great at saying it, even he admits to this, I am sorry to say but Newt would kill Ron in a one on one debate.
