Ron Paul isn't really a conservative. He's the opposite - a conservative would be trying to "conserve" the status quo!!

ideology is not the same as it used to be; certainly Robert Taft was considered conservative, and was known as Mr. Republican.

his views were almost the same as Ron Paul

its the party that changed.

It's constitutional to change the constitution from time to time :) :) It's not constitutional to ignore the document.
