If we fail to take advantage of the system, then it could become disastrous for us as allotted delegates that Paul won in the voting process could go to other candidates.

Have you considered they are lying? They, too, are afraid of Paul. They know that it takes a consistent Constitutionalist conservative in order to beat a consistent socialist. Ergo, They fear Ron Paul, not Mitt Romney. They are desparate to get Romney as the Republican candidate because he is a progressive moderate who cannot defeat anyone.
