just now on "your money" the dude just said that this years repub cycle ....."could end very bad indeed, with an unelectable candidate getting the nomination, in other words, NOT MITT ROMNEY."

wow! they just dont hide it anymore. then they went on to talk about an outsider coming into the race since we might have a brokered convention.

edit: flipped over to FAKE NEWS and they are whinning about gingrich not getting on the virginia ballots.

i predict gingry and perry will be allowed on anyway just like mccain was allowed last election when he missed adeadline.

and now the lady just said ....."well whats the problem? why were ron paul and mitt romney able to get on the ballot but gingrich and perry couldnt, i mean it doesnt make any sense.""

No wonder she got the job to be on tele.

She sounds so dumb she'll say anything her handlers want her to say.

So when Perry and Gingrich shoot themselves in the foot, it's a conspiracy.

But when the media deliberately ignores Ron Paul it's for a legit reason.

If people don't wake up to this, this country deserves what it is getting.

You really have to pay attention here, folks.

They're already throwing the "brokered convention" into the water.

Most Americans have no idea what a brokered convention is, but the media will soon make sure everyone knows what it means, because it's the final arbiter of who the nominee will be, NOT their vote count.

Every RP supporter needs to sign up to become a delegate and, with a majority of delegates at the local level, elect the national convention delegates. Otherwise, the GOP hacks will simply ignore RP's primary wins and nominate their chosen guy.

Two campaigns have cash and a national ground game. Romney and Paul. The media can pump whoever they want but that doesn't magically give them a real organization

From what I was reading on this forum last night, we actually want other candidates on the ballot there so we don't HAVE TO get 51% to keep Romney from getting all the delegates there.

how do you know they were talking about paul, santorum, bachman, gingrich, perry all are extremely unelectable and poll horribly verse obama.

That's one theory. I kindof think it would be great for us to capture 100% of the Anybody But Romney vote

We'll either have a brokered convention in which someone like Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, etc is nominated if people aren't willing to accept Romney, or if Paul wins Americans Elect will run one of those guys to make sure he doesn't beat Obama.

But so what.

Let's make them do that horseshit. It will expose the absurdity of the system.

What I don't get is WHY anyone on CNN would be bemoaning the posssibility that Republicans would put forth an "unelectable" candidate. Isn't that just what they would hope for?

If you can't choose your own candidates, it isn't electiability they are actually talking about.

Help me out here please. Does this delegate status have anything to do with Primary states? (I'm a Kentuckian)

Gingrich's huge failure of a campaign at least has Fox News talking about him now, of course they'll bash anyone except Romney.

I hope Romney finishes third in Iowa. Maybe even fourth.

Absolutely. If we get a brokered convention, every national delegate will be unbound, even those from primary states.

Absolutely. If we get a brokered convention, every national delegate will be unbound, even those from primary states.

This is why it is so important and essential for as many Ron Paul supporters to become delegates. Even if RP does not win the Primary in your State, in a brokered convention he can win your States delegates. This is why I think if enough of us knew the system, that a brokered convention would be HUGE for us. If we fail to take advantage of the system, then it could become disastrous for us as allotted delegates that Paul won in the voting process could go to other candidates.

Imagine if there were 1000+ Ron Paul delegates at the convention? If it is a brokered convention we automatically win.

Interesting tidbit; this is exactly what Goldwater did. Goldwater delegates FLOODED the convention. Beat the establishment using their own system against them.

Quoted because everybody should read this twice. THIS is how we win the presidency. Anything else is just frosting on the cake. We need national delegates.

Have you considered they are lying? They, too, are afraid of Paul. They know that it takes a consistent Constitutionalist conservative in order to beat a consistent socialist. Ergo, They fear Ron Paul, not Mitt Romney. They are desparate to get Romney as the Republican candidate because he is a progressive moderate who cannot defeat anyone.
