Ron Paul received more in campaign donations in Q3 2011 than any other candidate in these states:
Q4 is likely to be even better.

Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, North Carolina, Oregon, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin

Also received more contributions overseas, AND more military donations than all other GOP candidates COMBINED.http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/2789/q32011.jpg

Absolutely shocked that my home state of Maryland is on that list. I know I have been pushing like crazy since early 2007 so I will take credit for some of that lol.

except Maryland is not red on the map, so either the list or map are incorrect lol ..

And yes the campaign's national hq is in northern Virginia.

that fundraising map says why mitch mcconnell wants doctor rand to be
mitt romney's veep so bad. if unemployment is 7.5% to 8% on election day
as the northeast gives mitt romney a 2 or 3 point edge over barack obama,
doctor rand paul stands to reason to be able to secure the good ole border
states around the heart of ole dixie for the GOP. herman cain topped all in
nebraska and georgia as rick perry splits the south esoterically with huck's
lingering army. mitt tends to slam the tennis ball into potus's back court
as the rest of the nation goes favorite son or favorite daughter mayhap.

The list should include Delaware (not Maryland), North Carolina (not North Virginia), and Kentucky (not Indiana).

It'll be interesting to see how this evolves from 2Q11 to 3Q11 to 4Q11.

No Newt states?

Correct. In 3Q11, Gingrich received >7% of the contributions in only 1 state: Nebraska (where he's in 4th place).

OK some mistakes were made. Here's the corrected list:

Correction: Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, North Carolina, Oregon, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin

Virginias going to be a tough one trust me...Huge big government affiliated corporations, federal employees, military etc etc that do not want to have a cut on the cash cow. Then the big cities are mostly establishment republican/liberal. We'll do well in the rural areas though.

william jennings bryan should have been alive to see this in all its glory!

mitt romney seems to have gotten his money from the states that went

to bill mckinley in 1896. governor rick perry picked up west virginia, i see.

Ok who has.... is that arizona or new mexico that is salmon colored.....there isn't even a candidate for that color

jjockers

That's Gary Johnson in New Mexico. The image quality of the map didn't transfer the colors very well.

Here's a better quality image:

Embarrassed that Texas is supporting Rick "Oops, I can't remember" Perry.

This is Q3, I still think Paul will do better than Perry in Texas when it gets down to it. Remember, Perry got most of his money from Big Oil, and Pharma, but that won't get him the votes.

Here's the 4Q11 update: 20 states + military and foreign countries :)

Paul's 20 states was the best, with Romney close behind at 18.
