Hello everyone,

I just wanted to give you a heads up about the hotels/airport situation with the Philadelphia airport. I used to work at the front desk of a hotel in NJ which was 2 geographic miles from the Philadelphia airport. However, to get across the Delaware River, you have to cross a bridge and there are only a handful to choose from. Most hotels list their distance from the airport as geographic miles instead of road traveled miles - so just be sure to mapquest your travel plans so you dont get stuck way out of your way. :)

Also, for the sake of saving money, there are many hotels just over the bridge in NJ that will be cheap. For those of you not from the area, do not get a hotel anywhere near Camden, for the love of God.

I could suggest a few low cost hotels that are just over the bridge (maybe 10-15 mins from the rally site) - they may be cheaper than the city hotels. :)

You could probably find out hotel info and then priceline the rooms. :)

Hope that's helpful :)

Would it be a good idea to get a room in one of the places you suggest and cab to the rally?

These are all NJ hotels. So, the cab ride could be more expensive. With the extra cost of the cab, it may be worth it to stay in the city. Some hotels may have access to public transportation, but I don't have details on any of that.

I was just suggesting cheap hotels :P
