Hey fellow Ron Paul supporters in Rhode Island...
I am new to the boards, glad to see there is an RI forum.
As you all know, Sheldon Whitehouse's Senate seat is up for re-election in 2012... We actually have a great candidate challenging him. His name is Barry Hinckley, from Newport. Barry is a very moderate "Liberty" Republican who has spent his life in the private sector, creating jobs. He was recently endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus.
Sheldon Whitehouse is a career politician, born with a political silver spoon in his mouth. One of the elite liberal left in the Senate standing behind Harry Reid on every thing. He is one of many politicians linked to "legal" insider trading, with their non-public information relating to the market. Polls have recently come out showing only a 33% approval rating for Sheldon. Sheldon also voted for NDAA.
Barry Hinckley does not have the name recognition but this race can be won...
