While defending due process for American citizens is a good thing (it's shocking it is even having to be defended), it doesn't do much to encourage international travel (citizens of other nations), bringing much needed money into your economy. I, for one, will be encouraging family and friends NOT to travel to the USA. Spend your travel money at home or in other countries - not USA.

What does that have to do with the OP

Your post was about the importance of defending due process as was my response. Did I misread/mishear? The NDAA removes that, does it not? How are you going to defend it? If you are defending it ONLY for citizens as you seemed to imply, and maybe you have to start somewhere, but don't expect a tourism boom now or in future once people wake up to the reality of the risk associated with traveling there. In your economic reality, I assumed this would matter to you - maybe not.

You can choose to look out for only your own interests, but in doing so, your only hurt yourself. I foresee more of this happening, but worse: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maher_Arar

When I was first typing this, a wifi hotspot in USA was prompting me to login. That's how close I am and I won't travel there. I won't even travel to USA as a transfer at an airport and I'm sure I'm not alone. Your economic loss.
