From the Author:

The fundamental difference between David and myself is the question of interventionism and foreign affairs. On this issue I come down very, very close to Ron Paul’s worldview (and find myself cheering along with him in each debate that touches on the issue.) I am a realist and a non-interventionist. You might say that I am an Owl (as opposed to a Hawk or a Dove.) I am cognizant of the need for a strong defense. I simply believe that the strongest national defense is built through avoiding foreign meddling, steering well clear of nation building, and looking to our own soil first and foremost.

Very good article.

The authour just gave us a NEW SLOGAN!

DR. PAUL GIVES A HOOT ABOUT SAVING THE CONSTITUTION AND COUNTRY!

Great picture of a wise owl needed now. Make this go viral. Not a Dove or a Hawk but, a wise guard of the home turf.

Vote Ron Paul President 2012

As one who has a several Hoot Owls hanging around our place, I don't consider them as doing harm. No nasty, dirty pigeons hanging around here and they control other undesirables. My nephew can tell you about pigeons at his complex. Nightmare.

Hawks do like Owls. Doves are nice. if they don't all land on my patio. We have hawks circling also. What can I say?

Throw in the rattle snakes and scorpions we have and I vote for the Owls.

I will take a dirty owl over a dirty pigeon any day. Owls have to eat like the rest.

Ron Paul is a bold eagle when it comes to foriegn policy. The war hawks don't stand a chance.

Thank you,

You got the picture up just in time. I was going to chide the board that no one could put up a picture of hooter's, errr, I mean a hoot owl.

Imagine the slogan, Hooter's for Dr. Paul. Sort of like the pin up deal.

love the article. comments are solid too.

really like the 'owl' moniker, it fits wisely in with 'hawk' and 'dove' and sounds like an improvement on both.
