I saw this on Facebook.

Twin Cities Student Walkout Against the War - November 16

Description: On Friday, November 16, thousands of students from over a dozen high schools and colleges across the Twin Cities (and beyond) will walk out of classes at noon to demand an end to the war in Iraq, military recruiters out of our schools, and money for education, not billions more for endless war.

We will have a mass rally at 1pm at Government Plaza (5th St. and 4th Ave., by Light Rail stop) followed by a march to an indoor anti-war extravaganza with films, music, and more.

The walk out is being organized by Youth Against War and Racism, a group of students from around the Twin Cities. It is part of a National Iraq Moratorium Day being organized by anti-war groups around the country.
