The Truth is the problem. That is why Ron Paul cannot rule out a third party bid. What if he ruled it out and then the GOP cheated him out of the nomination? Ron would have already made his promise and he would not be able to go back on his word. Many people cannot face the truth. Rulers do not want us to know the truth.

He tells the truth about "Liberty (http://constitution.org/c5/index.php)" - That sucks for the privileged class because they control society.
He tells the truth about "Peace (http://www.wanttoknow.info/warisaracket)" - That sucks for the privileged class because they profit from war.
He tells the truth about "Prosperity (http://mises.org/books/goldpeace.pdf)" - That sucks for the privileged class because they lose their privilege.

Free Markets, Honest Money, Private Property (http://mises.org/books/prosperity.pdf)

The Economics of a Free Society

"These selections lay out my views of the proper role of government, namely that it should serve only to protect the life and property of its citizens. I respect the Constitution not because of a nostalgic attachment to an anachronistic document, but because the Founders knew the danger in allowing government to overstep its legitimate functions. It is unfortunate that many Americans today don’t understand the Founders’ wisdom in framing our government on the principles of federalism and republicanism—as opposed to “democracy.” A free society can only work when its members agree that there are certain things left to the discretion of individuals—no matter what a temporary majority might think. In practice this means the government must respect private property and the rule of law, or what is also called free market capitalism." -- Ron Paul

Under international and US law, blockades are acts of war and variously defined as:

-- surrounding a nation or objective with hostile forces;

-- measures to isolate an enemy;

-- encirclement and besieging;

-- preventing the passage in or out of supplies, military forces or aid in time of or as an act of war; and

-- an act of naval warfare to block access to an enemy's coastline and deny entry to all vessels and aircraft.
