Easy way to fix this without contacting or relying on the incompetent campaign staff...someone needs to register the incorrect domain and redirect it to the secure donation page.

Others have soon after it was posted.

I wouldn't say a big deal, reminds them just to go to the website.. There's like five other statuses about it below too.

Not quite that easy - the server would require a secure certificate. Or I'd do this in a heartbeat.

Couldnt you get around the server cert thing with a simple meta redirect to the correct site?

I think a redirect would do the trick, just the kind used by GoDaddy and others should do the trick, I think it's nuts that we have to go to that length though to get this fixed.

Problem for redirect is that it's a secure https page.

We need some kind of direct line to the campaign. This type of thing should be an easy fix. Almost 3,000 likes and 340 shares on the wrong link...

How on earth is that a problem? Did you purchase the domain? I could have this fixed in exactly five minutes if I were able to buy the domain.

Still not fixed after a couple of hours... It's sad the campaign doesn't always have this site up - there are always interesting ideas here too they could listen to.

The url is incorrect, there is a 0 too much in it "20120"

A website won't communicate with a browser when there is SSL involved (https) if there is no SSL certificate. A simple redirect wouldn't work. You need to set up an SSL certificate to be able to redirect https://secure.ronpaul20120.com.

I doubt it can be fixed...apparently Facebook does not allow editing of a post...they need to delete the post and create another one.

Quite.

Literally a 30 second task. Heads should roll for this delay. 5 hours! Holy cow, no way to run a campaign that requires donations.
