According to the roll call he did not vote on the garbage bill that was just passed. I guess he was too busy campaigning in Iowa to travel to Washington for another nay vote. I want him to win so I don't mind. Your thoughts?

The vote was 283-136. I'm sure he would have made the effort had it been close.

Hmm. This would've been a strong argument against wavering Obama supporters.

Any Obama supporter who thinks Ron Paul would have voted yes on this garbage bill needs to have their head examined.

Sure, but there's something powerful about being able to say "He voted against it". It carries more weight than "He is against it." Of course, with Paul, the two are the same.

He voted against it the first time. They tabled it for the day but brought it back up at night -- just wasn't on the radar.
