Dr. Paul lived up to his plan for the evening at last night's FOX News Debate.

Earlier in the day, Dr. Paul was asked by FOX News commentator and debate moderator, Megyn Kelly, what his plan was for the debate. Without hesitation, Dr. Paul said "Tell the truth....tell the truth. That's the easiest way."

Well, sticking to his plan last night led to verbal assaults from none other than Michelle Bachmann, who verbally challenged Dr. Paul's--"with all due respect"--statement on Iran as being the most dangerous foreign policy statement she had heard. She spewed statements that were later verified as false by several fact check organizations, and interrupted Paul's rebuttal time to a host of boos from the crowd. Dr. Paul came down emphatically and noticeably irritated with the congresswomen's statements, coming just short of calling her a liar to her face.

Sometimes it is difficult to "just tell the truth". Who hasn't experienced that dilemma? But for Ron Paul, last night was a night he shined as the candidate that will never back away from the truth, even if it is unpopular. It's called integrity. A character trait sorely missing in today's political arena. Once the voters get a grasp of that fact, last night's debate can't help but bolster his base.

Perhaps Ms. Bachmann could use some private sessions with the doctor.
