Can anybody think of a way that we can try to average at least $108,000 a day until December. This will give the campaign $10 Million. With the average of about $600k to $700k in offline per month it would be even less but I would love to see us at $10 million before the end of the month. This would give us two weeks of slower donations before the December 16th aka the Brew Day. We could end the 16th with $16 - $17 mil. That would give us the third largest haul of any republican. The top was Guiliani in the first quarter at $21,084,634 but if you look into the numbers, every quarter each of the "top tier" have gone down in how much they raised and most experts say that trend will continue. This means that most of the other candidates shouldnt get more then about $10 million to $12 million dollars. We could end up being the top fundraiser.

Candidate____ Money Raised, 3Q____ Loans Received, 3Q____ Money Spent, 3Q Total Receipts Cash On Hand Total Debt
Rudy Giuliani..... $11,624,255....... – $13,300,649...... $47,253,520.... $16,649,825..... $169,256
Mitt Romney..... $9,896,719..... $8,500,000..... $21,301,755.... $62,829,068.... $9,216,517..... $17,350,000
Fred Thompson..... $9,750,820..... † – $5,706,366..... $12,828,110.... $7,121,744.... $678,432....

mtmedlin: let's do a little math...first up, Dec 16th will raise $10,000,000 get used to it. It's a mathmatical certainity, based on 100,000 meetup members, 40-50k new donors by then, RP at double digits in all polls and many other factors. As you say, by the end of this month he will be at $10,000,000; but actually, he will be at 12m. That's a done deal. So, by the 17th Dec he will be at 22m...in the last two weeks of the month all of the supporters will sense victory and push him over 25 million, perhaps to 27-30 million making him the number one fund raiser on both sides. That's the new reality of Nov 5th....

I think one novelty would be to have a date for which that people pledge x percentage of the price of gold.

I find this to be a bit on the way optimistic side. But then again, I thought that November 5th would do good to raise $1 million.

I hope you're right.

Shaun, I like your optimism, but that's an awful lot of "done deals" and "mathematical certainties". Let's not count our chickens before they're hatched, eh? Not to mention the figure of 100,000 meetup members, we're at, what, 63,000 now? That quite an increase you are predicting.

I hope you are right, though. :)

I think the 11th will be a pretty good day for donations. I'll be donating then myself.

I like that thinking. $108,000 a day, or $756,000 a week... this gives us $10 million going into the final month of the year. Then we can set our goal at $20 million total. With a good showing for the Tea party, I think it's possible. But we really need to promote the hell outta the Tea party, and sooner is better than later.

I think logically and not optimistically and if we have $10 mil for Rp by the 1st then that means he can spend all $5.4 that he had before then. Thats alot fo money for just a few states that were trying to win. He has to drop some serious cash into Iowa, If he gets pushed out of the debates, the news will attempt to marginlize him again. Honestly, If we are able to raise my estimate of roughly $17 mil, then he will be the talk of the town and will spend most of December on national tv. Alot of people questioned his tactics but I have to say, coming in a little late with a huge thunder looks to be a winner.

We'll have 10 mil (including offline donations) by the end of this week. We're almost at 8 mil now (not including offline donations since the fifth (which are probably considerable) and we still have the money bomb on the 11th. Then of course, the December 16th event will at about 6 mil to the coffers. I expect us to blow past 20 mil for the quarter.

Guys; Your teams just raised 4.3 million dollars in a day! You can't be serious if you could possibly think that you will only raise 6-7 million on the 16th Dec! I'll streak naked down Hollywood Boulevard if RP doesn't raise 10m on the 16th. As I said before, it's a math equation at this point. Look at the growth..
Sematary is right, we will blow through 20m for this quarter, more likely closer to 30m, I know you don't believe, but belief doesn't matter now ( it did before..) the facts are taking over now. He's like a snowball rolling down a very, very large hill and by Dec 16th the offline media are just going to be stunned at how many of those snow flakes in that RP snow ball handed over cash. All this stuff on the forums about will he or won't he raise the 12m this quarter is ridiculous. In my mind the issue now is; Will he raise more than Hillary?
Watch the excitment build on Dec 10th onwards...
Amazing, you will all be a part of history..

Amazing, you will all be a part of history..

Sometimes I have a hard time believe this :D When I first got on board the RP wagon our expectations were much lower. Remember the $500k fundraising drive? It wasn't that long ago! And now 10 million in ONE DAY! I think we can actually do it.

IMAGINE THE MEDIA THEN!!!

It's just hard to believe we're part of something so big. Many of us are brainwashed to accept the status quo because we've only had two families in the White House since we were kids. This is one of the reasons RP attracts so many young people.
