Already saying Iowa is irrelevant before we win! Getting attacked from the right and the left... Bring it on, you hacks.

Can you imagine in 20 years when they say "Ron Paul was one of the greatest presidents ever, and the greatest of our time". They will be eating their foot.

It does mean nothing if we can't continue winning. Really need to quit jumping on all of these micro-statements of the press. In and of itself, an Iowa win only means Ron CAN win, not that he will. Remember Huckabee won Iowa last time and lost. It's up to US not to get complacent.

Yes, and I hope these micro-statements motivate us to not get complacent. :)

This might be good. If they are attacking Ron now, that means they consider him a threat to Obama. Remember when Maddow praised Rand during his primary campaign? That's because they were dumb enough to think he would be easy to beat in the general. They were wrong. Now they are attacking Ron before the primary is over, this means they think he is a powerful foe.

I posted this on the site linked, and I'm posting it here.

Racheal Maddow misses the point. Ron Paul's biggest obstacle is the fact that people don't take him seriously and don't see him as a serious contender. Many people don't want to "waste their vote" on Ron Paul.

A victory in Iowa would demonstrate that Ron Paul is a serious candidate, it would bring him to the attention of a larger audience, and help him a lot.

A win in Iowa didn't mean as much for Huckabee because he never had that problem. He was taken as a serious candidate before the first caucus, and this time around, he was considered the front-runner, before he declared that he was not going to run.
