View Full Version : What's the campaign magic in NH and Iowa to get these numbers?

And how can we replicate it in the other states? Is it primarily the ads? Is it more of the fact that Ron meets with people? Can we not stand up to fill that void in other states? Nothing's as good as the real thing (Ron Paul live in person, with official campaign ads...) But obviously the message is resonating in Iowa and NH, what's the formula, can we spread it?! :D

I don't want the other states to be dependent on a strong Iowa/NH finish, I want to get them trending up faster, now.

It is focusing resources in those states. This is how it is done for every candidate even candidates like Romney who have a lot of resources. We are just better then other campaigns at campaigning. National numbers are purely the coverage that is given by news.

Lots of advertising, phone calls and face to face. That's what you have to do when the media is against you. The whole process will have to be repeated in every state unless wins or good showings in NH and IA get good press. It's going to take a lot of hard work and money to win.

It is a multi faceted approach that includes something VERY powerful that all true supporters should be doing

People in NH and IA mainly get their information from the candidates themselves, their campaigns, and their supporters.

The rest of the country mainly gets their information from the MSM. That's the difference.

a 6 million+ moneybomb tomorrow will allow the campaign to flood airwaves in January. Combine that with new donation from winning Iowa, getting 1st or 2nd in NH, and we will easily take SC.

Phonebanking. The simple act of asking someone: "Will you support Ron Paul?" causes them to consider the question. A poll several weeks ago determined that 60% of likely caucus goers had been contacted on the phone by someone from the Paul campaign.

Sometimes to win someone's support, all you have to do is ASK.

Core element of a sales pitch: AIDA

1. A = Attention = Make someone aware that they have a problem.

2. I = Interest = Tell them that you have the solution.

3. D = Desire = Describe what it will do for them in sufficient detail that they start to think they should buy it. This involves a list of all the features and benefits with an emphasis on What It Can Do For Them.

4. A = Action = Ask them to place an order.

Action is the most important step. Sometimes they already have on their own gone through the first three steps, and all you have to do is ask.

Yes, and the phone from home program is where the national phonebankers are doing a simple survey to collect data that gets passed onto phonebankers in the respective states for the ask.

Wanted to mention that to avoid confusion...
