LOL Carl Cameron just did a piece on Faux News-Gingrich clearly the leader! Romney close behind.

Seven or eight minutes and not a mention of He-who-shall-not-be-named. :)

Lame statements about how polls are now almost meaningless. People are not yet engaged because candidates cannot find audiences to whom they can direct their megaphones. Blah...blah................:D

Actually a very good point. Even a very narrow loss by Gingrich would be perceived by Fox viewers as a big defeat that way, and if Newt or Mitt managed a very narrow win, it would be perceived as a defeat for them and a victory for RP. A lot of politics is not simpy winning, it is beating expectations. By keeping RP's expectations low, they are playing into his hands.

I'm hearing a lot of "polls are meaningless" stuff in the news. Reminds me of the forums when our poll numbers weren't so good.

We all believe in the polls now don't we!?!?!

This^... the last 24 hours have been brutal to watch. Ron has been attacked on every network constantly. That old saying that 'bad coverage is better than no coverage at all', it doesn't ring true in politics I don't think. On the internet we can somewhat control Ron's coverage. Since the internet is as large of a market as T.V., we don't necessarily lose anything by not being on (other than some of the older voters).

And I actually agree with you about staying under the radar. :)

Reading 10 different polls by 10 different polling companies from 10 different dates could be meaningless. But tracking a few reputable polling agencies over a few months period should be a good indicator.

There is no question Paul is rising. I have a feeling we are going to see a massive attack tomorrow in an attempt to dull the money bomb and Paul's rise. The best thing we can do is donate, as we are so late in the game in Iowa, the media is becoming irrelevant.

Ron is sure throwing a wrench into their plans. Every year it gets worse, and last election there was a fight for who would declare the winner the fastest. Using media polls and exit polls to the point of it being sickening so they could declare a winner after only %10 of the votes counted. Not going to be so easy this time around.
